AccountsWeb
GST-compliant cloud accounting for Indian businesses
AccountsWeb helps Indian businesses manage day-to-day accounting with built-in GST logic — invoices, bills, banking, ledger, and GSTR-ready reports backed by double-entry bookkeeping.
Problem
Indian SMBs often scatter invoices, expenses, and bank data across tools. Many apps skip a real general ledger, making GST splits and year-end reconciliation painful.
Solution
A ledger-first Laravel + React product: every invoice, bill, and payment posts to journal entries; GST is computed in a dedicated layer; reports read from the ledger, not document totals.
Key features
- Sales, purchases, banking, and Indian Chart of Accounts
- Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet from journal entries
- GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-2B export workflows
- Roles, accounting period lock, and audit log
- 48+ automated backend tests; domain-driven API
Architecture
Decoupled React SPA ↔ Laravel REST API ↔ MySQL. LedgerService posts balanced journals; GstCalculationService handles CGST/SGST/IGST splits.
